Strolling up Chapel Street today, I recoiled in horror at the sight of a certain necklace adorning a store mannequin. I know, I shouldnt be surprised - I mean, everything seems to be getting ripped off these days - from Louis Vuitton to Sass & Bide - but I never thought I'd see the day when Nicole Richie's jewellery label 'House of Harlow' would be so blatently copied.
Sucks for all those girls who've paid big $$$ for the real deal.
Like you said, it shouldn't be surprising - it happens everywhere. See something you like? Take a photo and copy. It is rife in the childrens fashion industry, and I can only imagine it is worse in ladies. It sucks for the retailers of the original design also.
